Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has just confirmed what many around the world feared—and what Israel could no longer ignore.
In a historic and sobering speech, Netanyahu announced that Israel has launched a targeted strike against Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities, weaponization programs, and ballistic missile infrastructure.
“We will not let the world’s most dangerous regime get the world’s most dangerous weapons,” Netanyahu said.
“When someone comes to kill you, rise and act first. This is exactly what Israel has done today.”
The strike included:
Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facility at Natanz
Iran’s top nuclear scientists developing weapons
Ballistic missile sites capable of carrying nuclear warheads
Retaliatory hits on Iranian proxies in Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen
Netanyahu drew sharp parallels to the failure to stop Hitler’s rise before World War II, invoking Holocaust memory and warning that “Never Again is now.”
This wasn’t just a defense of Israel, he emphasized—it was an act to defend civilization from nuclear terrorism.
“By defending ourselves, we defend many others.”
He thanked President Trump for his leadership and delivered a message to the Iranian people:
“Our fight is not with you—but with the dictatorship that has oppressed you for 46 years. Your day of liberation is near.”
Why This Matters to Christians
As Christian Women for Israel, we believe it is our responsibility to stay informed and stand firm with Israel in times of crisis. Netanyahu’s speech underscores the biblical command to act with courage and defend life:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid… for the Lord your God goes with you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)
